Last week I was treated to a mailing from my faithful Rep, Joe Gallagher from Devon Decor. What a delightful surprise was inside that envelope. Joe is the Rep for Janet Yonaty Inc. Textiles & Trims, from West Hollywood. Her new fabrics are a Hollywood dream.

 

I’d like to share them with you. My favorite – the one that swept me away – is this fabulous grid of multi colors, with a wonderful sheen. It’s 13% silk, and 87% viscose! The deep taupe background is such a contemporary foil for the purple and gold squares. Love it.

And I love the way it pairs with these other fabrics in the new collection: a wonderful 100% silk taffeta, and a faux silk velvet, made up of 31% cotton, 60% viscose, and 9% polyester. But what a great job! Don’t they look pretty together as a palette?

 

Next on my dream list is her line of silk rep fabric. I love the scale of the ribs and the texture – it’s wonderfully smooth. The aqua color is dreamy. Sweet dreams.
