Historic Condo – Before and After

Posted on: October 12th, 2010by wilsonkelsey 2 Comments

Today’s “before and after” story features a beautiful condo in Salem’s historic district. The client had recently inherited an interesting mix of art and antiques and asked Wilson Kelsey Design to help sort through the pieces and use them to decorate the renovated condo. We sorted through the vintage pieces and then helped them get repaired, refinished and reupholstered.

We also assisted the client with the selection of new pieces to complement the inherited ones. New rugs, select antiques and draperies were chosen to fill in where needed. We created a space that has a strong tie to the client’s past but with a fresh twist. Lively fabrics, an uncluttered furniture plan and well edited accessories keep this home looking forward.
